Want the brand new Acer Iconia A200? It does look decent though everything but exciting. Simply put – it’s “yet another Xoom” and by that I mean a device with a 10.1-inch screen, dual-core processor (NVidia Tegra 2), while Android Honeycomb is running the show. To be fair, the A200 does look sexy in red, while the black model looks like any other tablet out there.
The news is that Acer’s baby is now available in the UK through Very.co.uk, which is offering it for 299 GBP (about $462). And yes (in case you wonder), you can choose between black and red versions.
Aside from the specs mentioned above (screen, CPU and OS), the A200 also comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB o RAM, and 8 or 16GB of built-in storage. As far as I understood, Very.co.uk is offering the 8GB model.
At the moment you’re limited to Honeycomb, though the Ice Cream Sandwich update will definitely be released at some point in the future. Unfortunately, we don’t know when exactly that will happen…
