Epson launched the iProjection app for iOS-based devices, allowing users to wirelessly display documents and photos to Epson projectors. Available as a free download, the application is compatible with a number of file formats, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Apple Keynote, Adobe PDF, and JPEG and PNG image files. And aside from working with local files, it can also connect to cloud-based services like Dropbox as well as email applications (attachments). All said, Epson touts its app to be ideal for users who travel light and for teachers integrating mobile content into their lesson plans.
And that’s about all there is to know about iProjection. Plus we have the words of Brian Savarese (product manager at Epson America) – he said: “As tablet and smartphone popularity continues to grow, both business users and teachers are in need of an intuitive and easy-to-use application that will allow them to leverage content from their Apple iOS devices and project it wirelessly.
