Last time we talked about Amazon’s HTC Rezound offer, the online retailer asked for 150 bucks for HTC’s powerful smartphone. Like that’s not a good deal enough, Amazon decided to further slash the price to $79.99, making for an awesome purchase. However, this is the price for new customers only — if you’re upgrading or adding a line to your family account, you’ll have to pay $159.99, which is still less than what Verizon is asking ($199).
As a reminder, the Rezound is the best phone HTC has ever made, boasting a 4.3-inch 720p (1280×720 pixels) screen, LTE connectivity, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing one, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. At the moment, it is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released in the near future…
