MobiWorld Media, which is the owner of SPB TV trademark, is preparing to unveil the new SPB TV Solution for Three Screens, enabling all parties involved — including mobile operators, content owners and service providers — to deliver premium content to their subscribers across all types of screens: mobile, desktop and traditional TV. Moreover, the company will also showcase its brand new 3D UI at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new interface is designed to make the navigation through the delivered content “convenient, intuitive and fun for end-users.”
The press release goes on suggesting that SPB TV Media Platform can process simultaneously multiple video streams optimized for various screen resolutions, while supporting adaptive bitrate technologies to make watching TV smooth and pleasurable in varying network conditions. At the same time, the centralized authorization and content management system empowers operators to manage access and track content distribution from one control point.
