Sprint launched a MobiTV-powered Sprint TV app for iPhone users on its network. Available as a free download, it brings free live TV and video-on-demand from popular content brands such as ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, The Disney Channel, MTV, Comedy Central and others.

The basic service is available free of charge to subscribers with Sprint’s Unlimited Data Plans, while those not on a plan with unlimited data will have to pay $0.03 per KB transferred. The premium service, on the other hand, offers access to more than 40 popular shows like “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” “SpongeBob Squarepants” and “The Daily Show with John Stewart.”

You can choose between 4 Sprint TV packages, including:

  • Sprint TV (the free one) – ESPN Mobile TV, Disney Channel, NBC, ABC Mobile, CBS, The Weather Channel and more.
  • Sprint TV Xtra ($9.99/month) – FOX News, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and ABC Family.
  • Sprint TV en Vivo ($7.99/month) – Univision, Telemundo, ESPN Deportes, Cine Mexicano and Azteca America.
  • Playground TV ($4.99/month) – PBS Kids, Sesame Street, BabyFirst TV, Discovery for Families and Pocoyo.

The entire lineup of Sprint TV options is available from here, while the application itself can be downloaded from a link below…
