Clik, the app that wants to easily connect your TV and smartphone, is using SXSW 2012 to demonstrate the power of its platform. They’ve launched three new apps exclusive to attendees of the conference — CrowdTube, Tracks and Ethershock — to demonstrate the possibilities of social video, music streaming and gaming.
Here’s what you should know about each of the apps:
- CrowdTube – offers a new twist on the YouTube experience where a crowd of people can scan in and vote to pick the next video to play on the big screen.
- Tracks – lets users access 8tracks.com’s music library to create and control the prefect mix from their phone.
- Ethershock – a new take on the classic space invaders genre, making the smartphone a controller while the gameplay is on the big screen.
