Asus released a small bug-fixing update for the original Transformer tablet (turned netbook). Unfortunately, software version 9.2.1.17-20120312 doesn’t bring many goods to the tablet with users complaining some of the bugs they expected to be squashed still annoying them. That said, we’re not saying you shouldn’t update your beloved tablet — quite the contrary, it’s a good practice to keep your device software up to date. However, we do want to see Asus releasing yet another patch to deal with other issues users are still reporting. It’s not to say that the Transformer is useless as it is – it’s just that the experience could be even further enhanced.
As usual, it’s our duty to remind you that you should have some backup of your data prior to proceeding, just in case something goes wrong. Moreover, make sure your battery is fully charged. If those two are on place, you’re ready to go. Good luck! 😉
