HTC Vivid customers should be on the lookout for an update that’ll bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to their handsets. The update will gradually roll out to phones starting Thursday, March 22 says AT&T. Besides high-profile Android 4.0 features like face unlock, Vivid owners will also get HTC Sense 3.5 and Beats By Dr. Dre audio.
Looking further down the road, AT&T also announced it will release an Android 4.0 update for the following handsets:
- LG Nitro
- Motorola ATRIX 2
- Motorola ATRIX 4G
- Pantech Burst
- Pantech Element
- Samsung Captivate Glide
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9
AT&T wouldn’t say when these updates will roll out. The carrier only stated they would arrive in the coming months.
