Two of Canada’s mobile operators have added two different Samsung tablets to their respective portfolios. First comes Rogers Wireless, which has started selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, offering it for $399.99 on a three-year contract or for $649.99 sans any monthly commitments whatsoever.
On the other side, Videotron is accepting orders for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G. The tablets costs $549.95 outright (which is a nice price) or for $399.95 with a two-year customer agreement.
When you look at both tablets’ prices, it’s only obvious you DON’T want to sign a contract. Simply put – you don’t get much in return. If both tablets were offered for free with a contract that would be completely different story. Get a loan if you must, just don’t sign three-year contracts if you don’t have to. By the time your contract expires you’ll have an outdated device that can barely work with the latest version of Android…
