Thanks to the Google Shopping search, we know that US retailer J&R will soon launch the Asus Transformer Pad 300. It is said that the cheaper 16GB model will be priced at $379, with the keyboard dock selling for another $149, which is kinda steep. Then again, this is still preliminary (i.e. not official) and we’re sure some things could easily change in the days and weeks to come.
If you recall, Asus unveiled the Transformer Pad 300 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It’s a plasticy tablet (when compared to other Transformer Pad series) that rocks NVidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 10.1-inch 1280×800 pixels screen, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, front-facing one (for video calls), Wi-Fi and optional HSPA connectivity, an array of sensors and so on.
