Sprint CEO Dan Hesse, during a conference call this morning, told investors that the company planned to transition Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile prepaid customers to 4G WiMax later this year. This news came after Sprint posted another disappointing quarter. Hesse was mum on the details, but assured investors that more information would be revealed as the third largest wireless provider in the United States gets closer to launching the 4G service for both prepaid companies. We’re probably looking closer toward the holidays for The Now Network to spill the beans on specific dates, markets, and handsets. So stay tuned while we wait for more information to surface.
