The Droid Incredible was announced earlier this year by Verizon Wireless without a solid launch date. Rumors point to a June 21st launch, but there has been no solid information supporting this estimated launch date until now. According to Droid-Life, select Verizon Wireless stores received marketing materials for the next generation Incredible handset over the weekend. This doesn’t confirm the launch date, but its timing would fit in perfectly with a mid-June launch.
The Incredible 4G LTE from HTC is a mid- range Android phone with a 4-inch qHD LCD screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording. Hopefully, HTC and Verizon can get the handset on the shelves soon. With the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S III expected in the new few weeks, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE runs the risk of being forgotten in the clamor surrounding the S III launch.
