It’s not only Rovio which is bragging about its numbers with Halfbrick joining this trend, too. To be fair, they do have impressive figures so why not share them with the world.

The popular fruit slicing game has surpassed 300 million downloads with Fruit Ninja boasting more players than the combined populations of such major cities as New York, London, Beijing, Paris and Tokyo. All these players have sliced more than 1.5 trillion pieces of fruit along the way.

Moreover, some 100 years worth of Fruit Ninja is played every single day, with the game being installed on 1 out of 3 iPhones in the U.S.

The latest figures were released to celebrate the game’s 2nd anniversary which coincided with the major update to the game, which introduced new fruits like time-extending peach and explosive berries, as well as the new Bomb Deflect move…

Fruit Ninja is available for all major platforms and chances are you’ll find it in the app store you’re using.
