It’s Mobile Asia Expo time and Huawei is using it to unveil new products. Unfortunately, they don’t have anything *really* new to show us, but two additional versions of the existing device – Ascend P1.

The new P1 models, P1 TD-SCDMA and P1 2600mAh XL, are catered toward the Chinese market, though as far as we can tell, the latter model could also end-up selling in other parts of the world as well. Basically, this P1 comes with a larger 2600mAh battery that undoubtedly makes the end product few millimeters thicker. It will be released at some point in third quarter of the year.

As for the Ascend P1 TD-SCDMA, it’s made for China Mobile, the country’s and world’s largest mobile operator. As you can imagine, it swaps the WCDMA connectivity for TD-SCDMA, and will be released in China by the end of June.

Aside from these two phones, Huawei also confirmed that Ascend D1 will be introduced in China in the near future, with other markets to follow shortly after.
