Samsung to drop Kobo for its own e-book service?

The rumor is that Samsung is either not particularly satisfied with Kobo or desperately wants to make its own e-book reading service. In any case, it is said that the future versions of the Readers Hub won’t be using Kobo, but some other service, most likely made by the Korean company.

The screenshot above (which we got from HTBlog) illustrates the point, saying (in Italian) that Kobo isn’t available and that if you still want it, you can download it from Google Play. Now if you’re wondering when you’ll be able to get Sammy’s e-book service, the answer is – we’ve no idea. Moreover, I’m not whether dumping of Kobo is necessarily a good thing, but what do I know. Guess waiting and seeing is all we can do at this stage…
