Hulu Plus on Android just got another update that will bring even better support to devices running on Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). This upgrade finally allows Galaxy S II owners to watch their favorite TV episodes on the go (which is ridiculous, considering its almost been a year since all phones released). Other noticeable devices include the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and HTC One S. This minor bump in improvements only signals the inevitable, which is the immanent launch of Google’s new tablet called the Nexus 7.
If you’re one of the unlucky ones out there, who happens to have a phone that’s still unsupported, you’ll have to continue doing the tedious side loading work around to stream TV shows. This time though, the APK can be directly uploaded from the Play Store. Anyway, we’ll definitely find out why this update that supports 7-inch displays and high res screens was rolled out coincidentally ahead of the Google I/O Conference.
