NAVIGON has once again updated its iPhone app with new features. Version 2.1 introduces several handy enhancements, including:
- Google Street View – which is accessible both at the start of navigation and near the end when you’re approaching your destination.
- NAVIGON Cockpit – that displays relevant driving data in real time on a cockpit-like screen. Captured data includes gForce (current and maximum value), speed, horizontal and vertical position, and an adjustable speed and altitude graph. The capability is available as an in app purchase for $5.99.
- Manual Route Blocking – which can come-in handy when navigating in familiar territory and you want to avoid going through certain streets.
In addition, the new version of NAVIGON for iPhone also comes with a number of changes under the hood that makes for a better experience. For instance, the start-up time and map rendering performance have been improved, making zooming and panning in the map view much faster.
