Metrotube, which is arguably the best YouTube client for Windows Phone, is back. Previously LazyWorm (the app’s developer) pulled it out from the Marketplace citing the lack of official support from Microsoft and Google as a reason. They’ve reconsidered the decision and are re-launching its popular application. According to the “official blog post,” LazyWorm didn’t want to see the project that has consumed a year and half of the their lives go to waste. Wise decision though we can’t help but hate Microsoft and Google for not supporting the little guy.
Anyway, if you’re a Windows Phone user, Metrotube is a must-have app on your smartphone. Search for it in the Marketplace as soon as you’re done reading this article and take it from there — as far as I know, it should be available for download today. Trust me when I say that you’ll use Metrotube exclusively for watching YouTube videos. It’s that good! 😉
