Popular travel organizer app TripIt has a new iOS app, adding few new features to the mix. For instance, now you can attach photos to your itineraries, the capability that could used to remember where you parked the car at the airport; for capturing baggage claim tickets, receipts, hotel room numbers or items to remember later. TripIt on its end will keep all these photos stored alongside other trip information, making them easily accessible when needed.
In addition, trip plans are now automatically displayed on a map so it’s easy to find a restaurant, pharmacy or any kind of store near your hotel. Moreover, you can easily add new discoveries to your itinerary and even get point-by-point directions.
Finally, TripIt also got a new, improved way to add, edit or delete trip plans right from the app… That’s all cool, but that’s an iOS version only? What about other platforms? Hopefully Concur will soon follow with updated versions of TripIt for other smartphone users…
