Canada: Bell's LG Optimus LTE getting Ice Cream Sandwich, too

AT&T won’t be the only North American carrier which LG Optimus LTE (Nitro 4G) will get its serving of Ice Cream Sandwich. Bell’s version of the device will join the party soon, with leaked firmware popping-up at XDA-Developer forums. It is said that the mentioned .KDZ file is specifically made for Bell’s Optimus LTE though we can’t really confirm anything ourselves – cause none of us has LG’s smartphone.

So if the firmware is ready, it’s now up to Bell to make sure the new software is safe to be used by the general public. I would assume everything runs smoothly and that Optimus LTE owners will get Android 4.0 in the next couple of weeks.

And if you still don’t know what to expect from Ice Cream Sandwich, check out our post dealing with the Nitro 4G update. Or you can check out XDA-Developer forums and see if you can cram the software on your Optimus LTE this very second. Please do not proceed unless you know what you’re doing…
