It looks like LG will be hitting North America strong with what’s been rated as its best smartphone offering to date, the Optimus 4X HD. Sometime after September 22nd, Canadians can expect the phone to land on all of the popular carriers such as TELUS, Rogers, and Bell, according to sources familiar with technology site, Mobilesyrup.
For those of you out there who don’t know, the Optimus 4X HD packs some pretty impressive features, such as a quad-core 1.5GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 4.7-inch True HD-IPS display (720 x 1280 resolution), NFC-enabled (via LG Tag and you’ll get 3 NFC tags in the box), 8MP camera that shoots 1080p HD videos capture, 1.3MP front-facing camera with 720p HD video, 2150 mAh battery.
Our very own Blake Stimac just had a hands-on with this impressive device, and he uttered nothing but glowing things about the handset, like “so far, the only thing I have to say to LG is: Bravo.” With the Korean manufacturer potentially hitting Canada with its best device, shows that the company is poised to make some sort of impact in a United States market dominated by both Apple and Samsung.
