Good thing if you’ve been holding yourself out of signing-up for a new contract since many carriers are about to unveil their back-to-school offerings. While we still don’t know what U.S. mobile operators are cooking, we caught upcoming promo plans for Canada’s WIND and Mobilicity.
WIND Mobile unveiled a new back-to-school promo plan, offering unlimited data, unlimited local calling, unlimited Canada-wide text, call control (caller ID, missed call alerts, call waiting, call hold, call forwarding and conference calling), and no voicemail for $29 per month. In addition, customers are eligible for the WINDTab at $200 and the “Better Together Savings.” The plan is good for life.
Mobilicity, on the other hand, will offer two different plans, one costing $25 and the other one – $35 per month, both reportedly available starting from August 9th. The cheaper option comes with unlimited data, unlimited local and province-wide long distance, unlimited North American Text & Picture Messaging, Caller ID, Call waiting, Call Forwarding, Conference Calling and again no voicemail. The more expensive one adds voicemail to the mix as well as unlimited Global Text Messaging, unlimited U.S. long distance and 30 Minutes of North American roaming. Again, both plans are good for life…
