Last week eBay updated its rather popular eBay Fashion app for iPhone, making it available in Germany and Canada (in addition to the US and UK). Moreover, users are now able to search and browse by “Popular Brands,” while grid view is now default, making for better image viewing, which can be changed back to list view with a single swipe.

Alongside information about the new app, eBay also sent us few interesting stats:

  • In the US, a pair of ladies shoes and ladies handbag is each bought via mobile phone every 30 seconds.
  • Globally, there are 11,000 new items listed on eBay mobile every hour!
  • The total number of women’s shoes sold globally on eBay mobile in Q2 would cover the feet of the entire female population of Austin, Texas.
  • The total number of women’s jeans sold globally on mobile the same period could outfit the entire female population living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • The total number of handbags sold globally on mobile in Q2 could outfit nearly double the female population of Luxemburg.

eBay Fashion remains a free app and you can get it from a link below.
