Canada: Bell launches new Trade-in program

Everyone and their mama are launching trade-in programs these days. Most major carriers already have something like that on place and now Canadian Bell is re-launching its trade-in program, allowing customers to put the value of their old phone towards the purchase of a phone or accessory.

However, you should know Bell will only give money for devices in good condition. So if your phone’s keyboard or touchscreen is not working as it should, you better forget about it. On the other hand, if your device fits the bill, you can accept what Bell is offering you and use the certificate they give you “in-store at the time of trade in.” Bear in mind that “unused values are relinquished once you leave the store.”

Sounds too strict but then again – most trade-in programs work like this…
