Samsung and Motorola have a long history of bashing the iPhone in its advertisements, and now Nokia is following suit. The Finnish company recently released a cartoon-based ad that compares the Lumia’s multiple color choices with the bland black and white of the iPhone. The short clip appeared on YouTube and it is not known whether the ad will make its way to TV.
Nokia’s latest marketing campaign is branded #TimeToSwitch and points out reasons why customers would want to switch to the company’s Windows Phone handsets. The first ad for the company’s Lumia 920 backfired when The Verge discovered portions of the video were fake. The ad purportedly showed the advanced image stabilization of the Lumia 920 camera, but the clip was actually shot with a DSLR.
