Just when we’ve told you that the first Vertu-made Android smartphone could be released soon, we got the first leaked press image(s) to show you. As far as I can tell, this isn’t the Nokia 8800 legacy, or at least it doesn’t look like the Finnish company’s once-popular feature phone. Rather, it’s an all-touchscreen device with just a few buttons and the familiar Vertu design that undoubtedly includes high-quality materials like stainless steel and perhaps some precious metals.

It is said that this Vertu phone, marked as Ti RM-828V, will come with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon dual-core processor, NFC capability, 1,250mAh battery, Wi-Fi, while Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich will run the show. No word whether it will be upgradable to Jelly Bean, though.

As far as we’ve heard, the their first Android-powered Vertu smartphone will be launched at the end of February but we’re unsure whether that will include the Ti RM-828V or not. We’ll let you know when we hear something new on this…
