Motorola is officially pushing Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean updates to the Electrify M on U.S. Cellular. The Electrify M is the variant to the Razr M seen on Verizon Wireless, and being that its brethren already received its Jelly Bean update the Electrify’s turn was only right.

The new update (build number is 9.8.2Q-50_SLS-7) will usher in all sorts of treats, including Google Now, Project Butter (for UI smoothness), better voice recognition, enhanced notifications, a better keyboard, and etc. Android 4.1.2 is coming to devices over-the-air in stages, so we suggest that users obsessively check for their update through the ‘System Updates’ setting for a week or two.
