US Cellular’s Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II will soon get OTA updates to the MB1 build, which brings Android 4.1.2 to the SGS3, and some other enhancements to the Note II.
Aside from the OS version bump, the Galaxy S III will also get a fix for audio when playing streaming media, making sure Netflix users are finally happy — cause they were among the first ones to catch this bug.
As for the Note II, we’ve no idea what its update will bring to the table as it already runs Android 4.1.2. It’s likely that some of the preload software will be updated, some bugs will be squashed and the overall performance and stability will be improved.
The Galaxy S III OTA update should start rolling out in the next few days, but if you hate waiting, you can already grab the new firmware from here and manually flash it on your smartphone.
