We’ve told you that the Wi-Fi only Samsung Galaxy Camera is coming soon and voila – it’s (almost) here. The Korean company announced that its smart camera will be available soon across the States, when you will be able to get one for $450.
While that may sound kinda steep, bear in mind that you won’t have to sign a single carrier contract in order to beam photos from your camera to the Internet (wherever you happen to store them).
Again, the Galaxy Camera comes with a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 21X optical zoom, 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch display, HD video recording support, and a number of photo-taking and editing apps. It packs a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Bluetooth, GPS, access to Google services, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show with Sammy’s own UI singing on top.
