Samsung confirms global supply of the Galaxy S4 will be constrained at launch

Samsung circulated a statement today that confirms the supply of the Galaxy S4 will be constrained at launch. The Korean manufacturer claims this low inventory is the result of “overwhelming global demand” for the handset.

”Due to overwhelming global demand of Galaxy S4, the initial supply may be limited. We expect to fulfill inventory to meet demands in the coming weeks.”

For potential customers, this means the handset might be difficult to find at launch. You’ll want to secure a pre-order if you can, plan to be first in line on launch day or practice patience by waiting a few weeks for the phone.
