Japan has brought many innovations to the world; Anime, Pokemon, robots that care for the elderly, and now, an Android controlled toilet. The Lixil Satis Toilet changes everything you’ve ever thought about defecating, making that trip to the restroom more relaxing than anything we westerners could ever dream of. The toilet responds via Bluetooth to a variety of commands, allowing prospective poopers users the ability to open the toilet seat, change the direction of the bidet nozzle and even change the water temperature. Talk about comfort!
The Satis toilet comes with an accompanying app called My Satis, that lets users remotely “log in” (insert Beavis and Butthead laugh track here) to check on important things such as water and energy consumption. Users can even create profiles, ensuring that multiple users will be able to enjoy maximum comfort when the occasion arises.
The Lixil Satis isn’t cheap though, and is currently retailing for $2385, and comes in three different models. The price may be a bit steep my friends, but just think of all the money you will save by not buying toilet paper any more! Bam! Purchase justified.
Be sure to check out the video below. It’s in Japanese, but you’ll get the gist of it.
