Hulu announced some pretty impressive numbers at its advertiser event this morning. The streaming service provider said that it has managed to double its Hulu Plus accounts in the past year, up to four million. Hulu is showing growth despite it having no idea on what super company that’ll swoop in and buy them outright in the future.
The streaming company also reported that its site’s revenue also hit a record for the first quarter of the year, albeit, Hulu didn’t give specifics on any numbers. Furthermore, customers can expect Hulu to follow the same path taken by its competitors Netflix and Amazon, as it too jumps into the production of original content.
