Nokia is extending the Nokia Music with Mix Radio service to its range of Asha Touch feature phones. Aside from offering “classic” song purchases from the catalog of 24 million tracks, the service also includes the mentioned Mix Radio that “delivers free personalized music from different genres or categories.” Curated by Nokia’s Musicologists, there are more than 100 different channels to choose from, refreshed weekly, making sure you’ll always find something new to listen to. Or, if that’s not enough, you can create your own compilation by selecting up to three artists to get a Mix based on, and including, those artists.

The best part is that offline mode also comes included, allowing you to store up to 4 Mixes at the same time. This way you’ll get to access your music even in places where there’s no Internet connection around and you can’t stream the tunes from Nokia’s servers. Speaking of streaming, Nokia Music will work over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi connections.

Nokia Music will only be available on new Nokia Asha Touch smartphones, including the Asha 305, 306 308, 309, 310 and 311 over the next few weeks, with the rollout beginning in Russia. Further rollouts will follow shortly afterwards…
