Guess who will help HTC increase sales? Robert Downey Jr. aka Iron Man, who has apparently signed-up with the Taiwanese company for a 2-year global marketing campaign worth some $12 million. The deal is still not official, but the speculation is that actor will have final creative say over the campaign and will be playing no-one else but himself.

With Samsung spending a fortune to promote its products, HTC could use some boost in its marketing activities. Getting Downey Jr. on board seems like the step in right direction to get the HTC One to more hands than ever. And yes, we’re looking forward to see the first ads featuring Tony Stark as he promotes HTC’s gear to the global audience. 😉
