Leak: Verizon Storyboard Promises DROID MAXX Will Have 48 Hours of Battery Life

According to a leaked storyboard obtained by Android Central, the upcoming DROID MAXX will have 48 hours of “worry-free” battery life. Sounds kind of crazy, since the device will no doubt be packing some beefy insides. The storyboard is a mock-up of Verizon’s DROID MAXX ad campaign, which will roll out after the device is announced.

With higher-end smartphones packing more and more powerful specs and components, battery life has become one of the most important features in a smartphone today. Whatever the elder sibling of the new DROID family has under its belt, you can bet your bottom dollar that Verizon’s ad campaign will focus on the battery life of the device.

We’re still not sure when Verizon will announce the new DROID line, so check back for more news as it breaks.
