Samsung moves 150,000 Galaxy S4 LTE-A units in 14 days in Korea

The hot-new Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A is selling like cupcakes in South Korea with some 150,000 units sold in just two weeks. That’s an everything but surprising news considering that Sammy’s flagship is still the only device supporting LTE-A standard with such LG model (or two) launching later in the year. We’ll see whether Pantech, the third Korean handset maker, will also release a device with LTE-A connectivity support.

Aside from singing along the fastest network standard out there, this version of the Galaxy S4 also comes with faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (vs. Snapdragon 600 or Samsung Exynos 5 Octa regular Galaxy S4 has) and yes, we hate Samsung for not bringing a comparable model to the Western hemisphere. Hopefully that will change in the next few weeks and in the meantime, there’s something to be envious about…
