Looks like Nokia is working on a new low-end Windows Phone 8 device marked as Lumia 625. What makes this device unique is the fact that it has a 4.7-inch screen, making it the biggest Nokia smartphone ever. In comparison, Nokia Lumia 92x devices and even the new Lumia 1020 all sport 4.5-inch screens.

However, just because it has a large screen, it doesn’t mean we’re talking about a high-end device. Quite the contrary, that display supports WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution, while the rest of the specs include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 5-megapixel camera with flash and LTE connectivity support.

It is said that the Lumia 625 will be unveiled in China by the end of this month with a price tag of 1,999 Yuan, which translates into some $326. Unfortunately, we’ve no idea whether it will also be available in the other parts of the world though we see no reason why would the Finns keep it locked to the Far East. I’m sure this isn’t the last time we’ll talk about this Nokia smartphone with more information likely to come in the next few days or weeks…
