Samsung is launching two new color options for its mid-range phablet, Galaxy Grand Duos in India. In addition to the “Metallic Blue” and “Elegant White,” the device is now available in “Luxury Brown” and “Wine Red” colors, both of which look pretty sexy to us.
Samsung India’s official online store lists the two phones with a price tag of Rs. 20,800 (about $342) and that money also gives you two Flip covers for free, worth Rs. 2,798 ($46).
If you recall, the Galaxy Grand Duos packs a 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) touchscreen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, two SIM card slots and a 2,100mAh battery. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and should get its 4.2.2 update soon… or 4.3, you never know.
As for when these new color options will hit the Western hemisphere, the answer is “we don’t know” and can only hope that will happen sooner rather than later…
