Sony’s Gamescom PS4 event just wrapped up. We’ve got a lot of great stuff to report on, and a recap is coming soon. But the most important piece of info Sony dropped was the release date for its new console.
The Playstation 4 will be releasing on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe. It will be available in 32 countries by the Holiday season. As previously reported, the console will retail for US$399, 399 Euros, and 349 British Pounds.
While rumors of an October 21st release proved unfounded, Sony does appear to be beating competitor Microsoft to Market. The Xbox One’s release date has yet to be announced.
