Maxthon has teamed-up with RollTech, the value-added services arm of MediaTek, to preload its web browser into upwards of 100 million smartphones in 2014.

MediaTek is the third largest global supplier of chipsets used in Android smartphones and tablets.

This collaboration builds on Maxthon’s continued mobile expansion in fast-growing markets like Brazil, Russia and India, and is in line with the company’s vision for “sustained growth in global markets.”

This is a huge win for Maxthon which also offers its browser for PCs. We like to root for the under-dog and Maxthon is just that – a small company competing with giants like Google, Microsoft and Apple.

And we suggest you to give Maxthon a try. It’s a free download and you can get it from a link below.
