Nokia used twitter to drop a hint that it may be preparing to launch a new device on October 22nd. The teaser from Nokia’s official Twitter account said “At Nokia, we never stop innovating. More to share on October 22.” The image associated with post has a few hash tags #blazing, #stories and #innovationreinvented.
Nokia isn’t exactly spilling the beans here, but it is confirming that the rumors about a new product announcement in October were spot on. These rumors point to the launch of Lumia 1520, an over-sized Windows Phone handset. The Lumia 1520 is rumored to have a 6-inch full HD screen, 20-megapixel PureView camera with dual LED flash on the back, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 32GB of internal storage and a 3400mAh battery.
