Good ol’ EVleaks is telling us that Nokia will soon launch another Batman-branded smartphone. The Finnish company has been associating itself with the Caped Crusader in the last few years, but that relationship (with DC Comics) didn’t bring in the sales; or at least we haven’t noticed. Alas, with devices like these, Nokia keeps getting media attention and kids (potentially) get their next dream phone.
Anyway, EVleaks is telling us that the next Nokia Batman phone will be the still unannounced Lumia 1320. From the model number, we conclude it’s a high-end device, one that sits somewhere between the rock-solid Lumia 1020 and rumored Lumia 1520 phablet. So it could rock a 5-inch screen… or not. There’s no clear correlation between Lumia numbers and phone screen sizes; take Lumia 625 with its 4.7-inch screen as an example.
And while we like the idea of a high-end Batman phone, we must add that in the past Nokia used the bat for both its mid- and high-end products. On one hand, we had the company’s flagship Lumia 900 getting the “Batman treatment”; and other – Lumia 710 got it as well. Still, we bet the next “Bat” will be a high-end device that will be even more appealing thanks to the famous superhero branding on the back. 😉
