Samsung has announced 14 new partners for its Wallet app. Companies joining Sammy’s scheme include American Express, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Malaysia Airlines, Amtrak, Valpak, eGifter, Gyft, Yowza, SpotOn, Agoda, HRS, Opodo and Thrillcall.
This batch joins existing partners that include the likes of Walgreens, Expedia, Belly, Lufthansa and Hotels.com.
The Samsung Wallet app works like Apple’s Passbook, allowing users to store and manage tickets, coupons, mobile boarding passes and membership cards, and even set time and location-based reminders to show tickets when needed. Moreover, the application syncs all stored data across Samsung devices and you can easily receive co-marketing offers or discover grocery coupons.
The Korean company is inviting additional partners and merchants to use the Wallet app with the Wallet Open API integration.
