Nokia hasn’t unveiled the earlier rumored Lumia 525 at its recent Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. But that doesn’t mean the Finns have completely forgot about this phone. Quite the contrary, it has just been cleared by TENAA which is the Chinese equivalent of FCC, and as far as we know – it could be launched in the world’s most populous country soon… or not.
It is said that the Nokia Lumia 525 will rock Qualcomm’s dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera. As such, it will be one of the cheapest Windows Phones made by Nokia and could yet again help Microsoft increase its market share. The Lumia 520 did that before and we see no reason why the 525 wouldn’t follow the same footsteps.
As I’m writing this we’ve no idea when this phone will be launched but then again we see no reasons for any delays. After all, we may be talking about one of the last Nokia-branded devices…
