Even though it already has the best virtual keyboard out there, SwiftKey is working to make its flagship product even better. The newly introduced “Layouts for Living” improved the experience on big screen devices, but these guys won’t stop here. In fact, they keep collecting user feedback with plans to release timely updates that would cement SwiftKey’s position as the best keyboard for Android.

So what SwiftKey users want now? Emoji icons and an optional numbers row. The company’s CTO and co-founder Ben Medlock turned to SwiftKey forums saying that these two will be added, though he failed to share the exact release date…

I’m not a big user of emoji, but I would love that extra numbers row. Having it as an option would make typing with SwiftKey even more plausible. Hopefully we won’t have to wait for too long to get these two features…
