Vodafone keeps launching its own-brand devices. Their latest device is Smart 4G, a low-cost LTE-enabled smartphone that was launched by the carrier’s Spanish division.
Made by Chinese Coolpad, this phone is made for first-time 4G smartphone buyers who don’t want to spend a small fortune on their handset purchase. As such, the Smart 4G won’t impress anyone with its specs sheet; it does, however, packs a solid value for the money.
Specs wise, Vodafone’s baby sports a 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960) IPS screen, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core chip, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, 1,880 mAh battery and 8GB of expandable storage.
Unsurprisingly, the Smart 4G is free with contract or 200 EUR sans any strings attached. Yeah it should be popular in all markets where Vodafone decides to launch it; and we tend to think it’s heading to other places like Italy, Greece and the UK.
