Nokia will soon start pushing a small, so called “Black” update that will add Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity support to its entire range of Windows Phone 8 Lumia smartphones.

Some devices — namely Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625 and Lumia 720 — already got this capability as part of the Amber update, allowing users to connect specific Bluetooth peripherals to their smartphones like heart rate monitors and smart watches. Actually, smart watches that sing along with Windows Phone 8 are still not available but we’re sure they’re in development as we speak.

The Finnish company failed to mentioned when this update will start rolling out but the chances are we won’t have to wait for too long to get it. Make sure to tap the “Update” button the second your Lumia informs you about a new software version waiting for download…
