Verizon had added two Samsung devices to their smartphone lineup today, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. Just in time for the holidays, these two mini devices pack mid-range specs into an affordable, cleverly designed package.
The Galaxy S4 mini touts a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.7GHz dual core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. The Galaxy S3 mini, which was announced a little over a year ago, rocks a 4-ich Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing snapper. Both devices run Samsung’s TouchWiz UI over Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Both devices include Samsung exclusive software, such as S Beam and WatchON, and include ISIS Mobile Wallet support.
The Galaxy S4 mini and S3 mini are now available in Verizon stores as well as online. The S4 mini can be yours for only $99.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate, and the Galaxy S3 mini costs $49.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. Both devices require a new two-year contract.
If you’re looking for a decent Android handset that won’t break the bank, both the Galaxy S4 mini and S3 mini could just be the devices for you.
