I was all set for bed and then bam, this deal popped up in my feed, and there was no way in good conscience I could sleep without telling you all about it. (Thanks for keeping me up, Droid-Life!) Groupon is now offering the 2012 Nexus 7 for only $119 through their website, available in the U.S. and Canada. Yeah you heard that correctly, a little over a hundred bucks! Both of the units being offered are Wi-Fi only, and come in at $119 for the 16GB variant, and $149 for the 32GB model. You had better jump on this deal fast though, because Groupon is only offering this deal for the next 3 days or until stock runs out, whichever comes first. I’m not a gambling man but I’d venture to say that these bad boys are going to sell like hotcakes.
I know, you may be thinking, that model is so 2012! Well, yeah, but it’s still a beauty and has the guts to go the distance. Plus, the Nexus 7 will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming weeks. So yeah, it may not be as sleek and sexy as the 2013 model, but these Nexus 7’s are brand spanking new, not refurbished and never touched.
