Anchorman 2 is set to hit theaters soon, unveiling the next chapter in anchorman Ron Burgundy’s amazing and extravagant lifestyle. To celebrate the epic movie release, Paramount has released an Anchorman themed mobile game entitled Scotchy Scotch Toss. The game is out now for iOS, and will be coming to Android in the near future.
Scotchy Scotch Toss puts you in the hot seat across from Ron Burgundy, who needs a little help with his rockstar lifestyle. You see, being a successful anchorman doesn’t lave you with time for the simpler things in life like say, putting ice cubes in your never-ending glass of scotch. Players have the privilege of completing this task for the esteemed Mr. Burgundy, tossing ice cubes into his scotch in four different Anchorman themed locations. Locations include a snazzy new New York apartment, Ron’s pimped out RV, the divey yet classy Tino’s Jazz Bar and the News Team’s 24 hour newsroom. The game includes a smattering of funny lines a quips voiced by Will Ferrell himself. Players can even print out a copy of the table-top rules of Scotchy Scotch Toss to play in real life. There’s even a two player mode!

“Hello friends, legendary anchorman Ron Burgundy here to describe the greatest app in the history of western civilization, “Scotchy Scotch Toss.” This mobile game, which I personally developed, combines my two favorite things: Scotch, and playful exchanges with total strangers. Simply toss ice cubes into my glass of Scotch and I’ll offer neighborly encouragement. OR, miss your shot and I’ll flog you like a petulant mule. Either way you’re going to hear about it!”
